SMART REPAIRS ARE A CHEAP FIX FOR A SCUFF MARK, BUT ARE ONLY NEW PAINT SPRAYED OVER THE OLD. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS METHOD IS THAT WHENEVER YOU HAVE NEW TYRES FITTED, OR A SMALL BIT OF IMPACT DAMAGE OCCURS, THE PAINT WILL JUST FLAKE OFF.
OUR FULL REFURBISHMENT INVOLVES CHEMICALLY STRIPPING THE WHEEL IN ACID BACK TO BARE METAL, THEN SAND BLASTING TO REMOVE ANY CORROSION, THEN ANY KERB DAMAGE OR LUMPS AND BUMPS ARE REMOVED OR FILLED.
WE THEN APPLY A PROTECTIVE UNDERCOAT, COLOUR THEN LAQUER AND THE WHEELS ARE BAKED IN THE OVEN FOR A LASTING FINISH.
FROM STANDARD COLOURS, TO CANDY COLOURS OR EVEN FLIP COLOURS WE HAVE A WIDE RANGE FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM.

Caring for your Alloy Wheels
Here at Wheelstation @ T.E.S we provide a 12 month guarantee for all standard powder coat work.
Powder coating is very durable, and you will find the surfaces very easy to clean.
The best way to clean your wheels is with warm soapy water, and a non abrasive cloth or brush, rinse your wheels well and dry off using a lint free cloth. Do not allow water to dry on wheels as this may cause water spots.
Should you decide to use a car wash, or even specialist wheel cleaning products, or tyre dressings then please ensure that the products used are water based. A lot of car washes, or shop bought products contain a mild acid which will attack the surface of the wheels causing white squiggles, like cracks under the laquer.
In cases where this damage has occurred it is quite visible to see that the damage is not consistent on all surfaces of the wheel, and that certain areas, (eg underneath the tyre) have not been exposed to such cleaners or dressings.
Unfortunately we cannot warrant such inconsistencies.
